Additionally, Gary shares his expertise as an exhibitor and visiting tutor at the Sydney Art School and the Combined Art Societies of Sydney, along with conducting classes at his own studio.

Throughout his illustrious career spanning over five decades, Gary has garnered numerous awards and accolades, including being a finalist in esteemed competitions such as the Hornsby Art Prize and the Sunshine Coast Art Prize. He is also in high demand as a judge for art competitions.

Inspired by his upbringing in Brisbane and his extensive travels, Gary’s art reflects his early experiences as a cartographer and illustrator. Now based in Maleny, Queensland, amidst the picturesque Sunshine Coast hinterland, Gary draws inspiration from his familial ties spanning four generations. It is here that he employs a vibrant and dramatic approach to his diverse subjects, creating captivating works that resonate with audiences worldwide.
